The Laurelhurst Club
The Laurelhurst Club, established as a non-profit in 1912, was created to host community events for the neighborhood. Over the decades, it has played host to an orchestra, a tennis club, voting booths, and a dance club, adapting to the needs of its community through various eras.
Renovated and modernized in 2021, The Laurelhurst Club has since become a premier wedding venue. Located conveniently near Laurelhurst Park, one of Portland’s most renowned parks, the club’s vintage Craftsman charm captures the essence of this picturesque neighborhood.
With 5,300 square feet of indoor event space, the venue accommodates up to 250 guests for standing events or 150 for seated dinners. Outdoor weddings can host up to 100 guests in the courtyard and gardens. The recent renovations include a bright white paint update to enhance lighting, while the original hardwood floors maintain the venue’s natural warmth and contrast.
The premises include a spacious ballroom, a catering kitchen, a built-in bar, a mezzanine for cocktail hours, dressing room suites, and multiple ceremony locations. Situated across from Laurelhurst Park, this venue offers convenience and charm, with nearby amenities to enhance your wedding experience.
Ceremony and Reception Areas
The Laurelhurst Club offers several options for ceremonies and receptions:
