A Stunning Wedding at Cooper Spur Mountain Resort

Tatum and Jared’s wedding was held at the breathtaking Cooper Spur Mountain Resort on Mount Hood. From the moment I arrived, I knew this would be an incredible opportunity to capture beautiful images. Cooper Spur wedding photos always have a special charm, with the rustic cabins and the stunning forested environment. I had the pleasure of photographing their engagement at Hoyt Arboretum, where we climbed on giant Sequoia logs near the Redwood Deck. Given their adventurous spirits, I was eagerly anticipating their wedding at Cooper Spur.

One of the best perks of a wedding at Cooper Spur is that you essentially get the entire venue to yourself. The resort provides a spacious main cabin for the bride to get ready, smaller cabins for family and guests, and multiple scenic locations for the ceremony and reception. While Mount Hood was hidden behind clouds on their wedding day, there were still countless picturesque spots for capturing stunning Cooper Spur wedding photos, as you will see below.

The Energy of the Hora and a Live Band

One of the most exciting moments of the wedding was the Hora. Tatum and Jared were lifted into the air on chairs and paraded around the reception tent. When they returned to the ground, guests joined hands and danced in rotating circles. Photographing the Hora is always exhilarating, as the energy is nonstop, and the dance floor is filled with joy. Every moment is worth capturing, making for incredible Cooper Spur wedding photos that truly showcase the energy and excitement of the celebration.

They also had a phenomenal live band that kept the celebration lively! I’ll be sure to add a link once I have their information. They performed flawless renditions of beloved songs, wore fun props, roamed through the crowd, and even started a conga line—keeping the party atmosphere at its peak.
