After a six-month hiatus from blogging I’m back with Naomi and Nick’s Zenith Vineyard Wedding. I really wish I could have posted their wedding photographs, along with many others months ago, but I took on several more weddings than I have in previous years, which was great because I got to work with so many awesome couples and explore a bunch of new, cool locations. However, the downside of that is I didn’t get to post the lion’s share of work I did last year, as I was primarily focused on getting everyone’s photos delivered to them in a timely manner. Now that I’m caught up for the most part, I’m going to attempt to get as many of these amazing weddings up on my blog before the busy season sets in again. And that brings me to Naomi and Nick’s wedding at Zenith Vineyard. I’ll be completely honest, when I first got their inquiry I was a bit hesitant because their date was on the Fourth Of July, and I generally try to avoid working on holidays unless it’s for a couple that I think will be a lot of fun to collaborate with. The moment I sat down with Naomi and Nick for our consultation I was instantly sold. They just had a wonderful, genuine, endearing vibe about them that I couldn’t refuse. I found that my intuition proved true when I shot their engagement session (which you can find here) at Horsethief Butte. It was seriously one of my favorite sessions of the year, and their wedding was just as fun. It also didn’t hurt that they hosted their wedding at Zenith Vineyard, which is a gorgeous venue. After all was said and done, I couldn’t have imagined having spent the Fourth Of July with a more perfect couple. 🙂 — KC
