Their wedding day was not just about celebrating their love but also about sharing the breathtaking landscape with their closest family and friends.

Wind-Swept Ceremony Photos with Stunning Views

Kelsey and William prepared for their big day in separate spaces within The Griffin House. Kelsey, assisted by her mother and sister, got ready in the naturally lit Griffin’s Wing, while William and his father shared a quiet moment tying his tie in the Griffin’s Den. Their wedding had been postponed due to the pandemic, and they chose to forgo a traditional wedding party to keep preparations intimate.

Before the ceremony, Kelsey shared an emotional first look with her father, followed by a heartfelt first look with William outside the front of the venue. Their wedding photos at The Griffin House captured these intimate moments, framed by the historic home’s rustic charm and sweeping Gorge views.

The ceremony at the Ceremony Lawn was punctuated by a strong wind, which rushed through the Gorge, and made Kelsey’s veil take flight, only to be swiftly caught and secured by her sister. The breeze continued to lift her veil and dress throughout the ceremony, creating a magical, windswept effect. Their tree-planting ritual, symbolizing their growing life together, was made even more special with the participation of their mothers. The moment they walked back up the aisle after their first kiss, the wind once again had its way with Kelsey’s veil, pulling it free in hilarious fashion.

A Joyous Wedding Reception At The Griffin House

Following the ceremony, guests lined up for drinks at a chic white cocktail cart and then gathered on the East Lawn for cocktail hour. Kelsey and William, always ones to embrace the moment, greeted their guests with tight hugs and laughter. As the evening progressed, they made their grand entrance, descending the stone steps into the reception tent, illuminated by natural light through its clear panels. Their wedding photos at The Griffin House beautifully captured the golden-hour glow as they cut their cake, with Kelsey donning a stylish tan leather jacket with fringe that swayed playfully as they celebrated.

As the sun set over the Gorge, the couple stole a few quiet moments together, taking sunset photos along the cliffside with the warm light wrapping around them. The night ended with an exuberant dance party, filled with laughter, uninhibited dance moves, tongues sticking out, and endless hugs.
