Add the charm of analog 35mm film to your wedding or elopement day. Alongside your digital wedding photography, I’ll photograph a selection of moments on authentic film using a Nikon F100.
The film add-on includes 3–5 rolls of 35mm film shot throughout your wedding or elopement, with approximately 50–100 edited images delivered. For shorter portrait sessions, such as engagements, proposals, or maternity sessions, I typically shoot 1–2 rolls and deliver approximately 25–50 images. The result is a collection of photographs with the natural grain, rich colors, and distinctive character that make film so special.

The Look of Analog 35mm Film
There’s something different about a photograph made on film. The grain, color, contrast, and way film handles light give the images a character that’s difficult to replicate digitally.
Film also encourages a slightly different way of photographing. Rather than documenting every moment, I’m looking for the photographs that are worth slowing down for—the fleeting expressions, beautiful light, quiet moments, and little details that help tell the story of your wedding day.

How Film Coverage Works
Adding film to your wedding photography package is simple. Your wedding is photographed primarily with digital cameras, while I also carry my Nikon F100 and photograph selected moments on 35mm film throughout the day.
Depending on the length and flow of your wedding, I’ll shoot 3–5 rolls of film. The film is professionally processed locally and camera-scanned and edited by myself, and the resulting photographs are delivered alongside your digital images.

How I Shoot, Scan and Process Your Wedding Film
For wedding coverage, I typically use Kodak Portra 800 or Kodak Ektacolor Pro 800 for color and Ilford Delta 3200 Professional for black and white. The film is professionally developed locally and scanned by me using a Valoi easy120 camera scanning kit and a Nikon Z8 for superior image resolution, contrast, and color depth compared to most scans you’d receive from your average film development shop. The scans are then manually edited alongside your digital photos in Adobe Lightroom with the Negative Lab Pro plugin.
