It was so much fun getting to collaborate again with Ally and Michael on their wedding photographs at the Oregon Golf Club in West Linn. I had a great time photographing their engagement session, my first of 2016, way back in May in various places around Portland, which you can check out here, so it was an honor being brought back in to photograph their wedding as well. One of my favorite things about Ally and Michael’s love story is that being the big fans of the Magic Kingdom that they are, Michael worked up the courage to propose to Ally in front of crowds of passersby during a vacation at Disneyland—in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle no less. Michael even coordinated with a Disneyland photographer to capture the moment for them, and it looked priceless. I may not have had a giant castle to work with while photographing their wedding, but the Oregon Golf Club grounds were gorgeous, and the bride and groom and their guests all look fabulous.
