Gorgeous Timberline Lodge Wedding Photography

A Stunning Timberline Lodge Wedding

A Timberline Lodge wedding is a perfect blend of historic charm and breathtaking alpine scenery, which is exactly what drew Annie and Josh to this iconic venue. Having grown up in Oregon and New Hampshire, they met in downtown Portland while working in the same office working in merchandising, and six years later, they chose Timberline for its rustic elegance and unbeatable views of Mt. Hood.

Getting Ready in Timberline’s Cozy Suites

Annie and Josh prepared for the day in Timberline’s charming suites, surrounded by wood-paneled walls and rustic fixtures. With champagne in hand, they toasted with their wedding party before Annie’s mother helped her into her dress, as her bridesmaids looked on with love. Josh, an avid photographer himself, soaked in the details of the day, knowing how much he wanted their photos to capture both their emotions and the stunning environment.

A First Look with a View

For their first look, they stood in front of Timberline’s massive lodge windows, where the reflection of Mt. Hood’s towering summit created a breathtaking backdrop. From there, we explored the lodge’s rustic interiors and stepped outside to take advantage of the wild landscapes. Josh’s father had brought along a stunning 1958 Jaguar, which made for an incredible portrait setup near the lodge entrance, framed by evergreens and mountain air.

Ceremony at the Outdoor Amphitheater

With the Pacific Northwest mountain range stretching behind them, Annie and Josh exchanged vows in Timberline’s outdoor amphitheater. Guests sat on wood log benches soaking up the afternoon sun with views of the dramatic Pacific Northwest mountainous countryside rolling in the distance. A light alpine breeze lifted Annie’s veil in a dramatic, cinematic moment, perfectly complementing the epic setting of their Timberline Lodge wedding.

A Cozy and Lively Reception

Inside their reception, Pendleton table runners and wooden blocks with name tags tied with twine created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Guests roasted s’mores over the outdoor fire pits, enjoying the crisp mountain air. As the live band, Dance Hall Days, kept the energy high, Annie knelt in the center of a dance circle, impressing everyone by chugging a beer in the crook of her arm. The night’s excitement peaked with the Hora, as the newlyweds were hoisted onto chairs, their faces lit with a mix of exhilaration and laughter.

Adventure and Beauty at Timberline Lodge

A Timberline Lodge wedding is a dream for couples who love adventure, history, and stunning mountain landscapes. Whether celebrating in the Amphitheater, Raven’s Nest, Ullman Hall, or even the Silcox Hut for a more intimate celebration, this venue offers an unforgettable experience year-round. Annie and Josh’s wedding embodied everything that makes Timberline magical—authentic joy, breathtaking scenery, and an incredible celebration.
