A Downtown Portland Benson Hotel Wedding

Tania and Michael were introduced to each other through a mutual friend at Michael’s law firm who was convinced they’d be a good match. It turned out to be true. After a period of courtship, while walking their dog along the Miami waterfront as they usually do Michael proposed at sunset, and of course Tania said yes. Fast forward many months of planning, Tania and Michael flew all the way over from Miami, Florida, for their destination wedding in downtown Portland at the Benson Hotel, and they had guests from all over the United States and beyond in attendance. It was a joyous crowd that really tore up the dance floor during the reception, which had a blast photographing. As it so happens, the Benson Hotel was a particularly special place for Tania and Michael to get married because both Tania’s parents and grandparents were married there, and it was neat photographing them together with so much history between them under the same roof. Following the wedding, Tania and Michael hopped a plane to Hawaii and spent their honeymoon snorkeling, hiking, and helicoptering around the islands.
