Hanna and Del’s wedding at the top of Angel’s Rest in the Columbia River Gorge was epic. We started the day off with an early morning hike up Angel’s Rest with a few of their friends, and once we got to the top, Hanna and Del changed into their wedding attire for portraits. It was supposed to rain on their wedding day, but we lucked out with overcast skies that gave way to sporadic sunshine. As we shot portraits, guests began to arrive, and after we finished the ceremony was held on a cliffside overlooking the Columbia River Gorge. It was gorgeous. When all was said and done and we began our hike down, a few sprinkles began and later the forecasted rain really began to pour when everyone sat down for a lunch reception at Broder in Hood River, where delicious Scandinavian eats were served up. Given that Hanna and Del had previously changed up their wedding plans a couple times and decided to forgo a big wedding in favor of a more intimate event, I’m super happy that everything went like clockwork for them. 🙂 — KC
