Clackamas River Engagement Photography

I photographed Emily and Dave’s engagement session deep into no phone reception zone along a beautiful portion of the Clackamas River. We arranged to connect at a little country store, the only one around for miles, just in case we were to miss each other for some reason at the trail they had chosen. I have a lot of fond memories white water rafting and floating the Clackamas River, so when Emily and Dave proposed the location idea for their engagement session I was super excited. While I’ve been out there a bunch, I’ve never shot a session along the Clackamas so it was fun getting that ticked off my list. It was also especially neat exploring an area of the Clackamas I had never visited before. This particular trail is one of Emily and Dave’s favorites, and it really had a little bit of everything to offer within the first mile or so. After we had wrapped up photographing their engagement session, Emily and Dave returned to the campsite further up the river that they had set up beforehand for a little weekend getaway in the woods. Now that’s my kind of couple! 🙂 — KC
