Lia and Bobby’s wedding at Amaterra Winery was a stunning celebration set in the picturesque West Hills of Portland. Their Amaterra Winery wedding photos capture the breathtaking scenery, modern architecture, and heartfelt moments that made their day unforgettable.

Getting Ready: Downtown Elegance & Winery Charm

Lia started her wedding day at the historic Heathman Hotel in downtown Portland, where she and her bridesmaids prepared in a suite filled with soft morning light. After finishing up, she was transported to Amaterra Winery in a party bus, taking a short break in The Gallery, a stylish and serene space that also serves as a great option for brides who prefer to get ready on-site. Meanwhile, Bobby and his groomsmen got ready in The Barrel Room at Amaterra Winery, where floor-to-ceiling windows let in great natural light, perfect for capturing pre-ceremony moments.

Ceremony with a View & Special Traditions

The couple exchanged vows on Amaterra’s expansive terrace, with the rolling Pacific Northwest hills and the distant Oregon Coast Mountain Range providing a stunning natural backdrop. The aisle was lined with vibrant red and orange flowers, adding warmth to the setting. Lia and Bobby incorporated a traditional tea ceremony, honoring their families and heritage. After their first kiss, Bobby raised his hand triumphantly, showing off his new wedding ring as they walked up the aisle together.

Sunset Wedding Photos at Amaterra Winery

Amaterra Winery wedding photos offer an incredible variety of backdrops, from the tiered roof entrance and modern concrete pillars to the vineyard below. As the sun dipped behind the hills, we ventured down the gravel path to the vineyard, where golden light illuminated the vines. Lia braved the trail in her heels, and the resulting images were well worth the trek. The images we capture complement well the adventurous engagement photos we had done several months earlier at the Redwood Deck in Hoyt Arboretum.

A Lively Reception Photos & Dance Floor Energy

The reception took place in the Skyline Ballroom, where rich red, pink, and salmon-colored florals adorned the tables, complemented by lush green garlands. The food at Amaterra Winery is a culinary experience, delighting guests with its expertly crafted dishes. As the night progressed, the dance floor turned electric. Bobby’s groomsmen hoisted him onto their shoulders, and Lia’s bridesmaids lifted her high on a chair. Meanwhile, cozy fireplaces on the terrace provided a warm retreat for guests to take in the stunning nighttime views of the Oregon Coast Mountain Range.
