Wedding Photography Price Guide
Build Your Own Package
Below you will find an a la carte menu to build the perfect wedding photography package for you. Reference the travel expenses section for additional fees associate with out-of-town locations in Washington, California and beyond. Customize your own package to fit your needs. Start with the base rate. Add additional time as needed. Then add any services you want, including an engagement session, album, photo booth, or a second photographer.
Base Rate: $2000
Perfect for elopements or micro weddings. Includes 4 hours of photography, 300-400 high-resolution edited images delivered via convenient digital download, a copyright license to print your photos, wedding planning advice, and an online gallery, slideshow, and optional printing service for friends and family.
Additional Time: $250/hr
From my years of experience, I’ve found that full-day wedding coverage requires 8-10 hours. I am happy to run you through a sample wedding day timeline to determine how much time you’ll need.
Engagement Session: $600
A la carte engagements are $700. High-resolution images included. Engagements sessions are great practice for your big day. Enjoy as many locations and clothing changes that can fit into two hours. Fine Art Album: $800
A la carte albums are $900. There’s no better way to tell your complete wedding day story than an album. It’s a work of art and a historical document of your family. You deserve one. Each elegant, archival 10” x 10” album is personally designed by Kyle Carnes and comes standard with a customizable cover, rigid lay-flat pages, and 50 images. Photo Booth: $600
Photos are taken by a dedicated photographer in front of a vintage background lit by a studio light. Fun props included. Photo booth images are delivered along with the wedding images via digital download.
2nd Photographer: $600
Recommended for weddings with guest counts over 100. Capture even more special moments of your wedding day by hiring a second seasoned professional photographer handpicked by Kyle Carnes.
Surprise Proposals: $700
Receive a $100 discount if you also book your wedding package with Kyle Carnes. He will help you scout the proposal location and prepare. On the day of the shoot, he will arrive 30 minutes ahead of time to guarantee he’s ready and well hidden. After the proposal, an hour will made available for portraits. Images are delivered via digital download with a copyright license to make prints. Travel fees apply. Click the following link for a surprise proposal example.
Expedited Gallery Delivery: $250
With this option your full wedding gallery is guaranteed to be delivered within 2 weeks of your wedding date. During the busy wedding season, normal delivery is usually within 1 or 2 months, although contractually delivery is guaranteed within 3 months.
Every effort is made to keep travel expenses minimal. Fifty miles roundtrip is included in your package. Each extra mile is 56 cents. If an overnight stay or air travel is required, a reasonable fee will be added to the package price to cover lodging, flights, and ground transportation. Travel expenses usually range from $50-$200 for locations in Oregon and Washington, $500-$800 in California, and $700-$900 in Hawaii. Pricing for other destinations is available upon request.
Weddings occurring between the months of November and March are eligible for a 10% discount on their wedding package exluding applicable travel and lodging expenses.
